How to use a case study in the exam

Name the case, give one number from it, then explain what the number shows about the theory. For example: “When the UK introduced the soft drinks levy in 2018, many producers cut sugar content to avoid the tax. This shows that a tax on a good with close substitutes changes behaviour more than it raises revenue.” One sentence of evidence like this moves an answer into the top band for application.
